The new C-Series DALI Intelligent Dimming Control Module is officially launched

Easyctrl has officially launched the brand-new DALI C-Series Intelligent Dimming Control Module. As a DALI protocol gateway, it enables seamless conversion between the YC-BUS protocol and the DALI protocol. So, compared to the previous B-Series DALI dimming module, what are the new features of the C-Series DALI protocol gateway?
With functionality similar to that of KNX-based DALI gateways, the DALI B-Series module adopts a hierarchical control architecture of 16 groups × 64 devices, enabling efficient management of DALI lighting systems. It also supports the DT8 standard, allowing for CCT (correlated color temperature) and RGB color control—perfectly suited for the human-centric lighting needs of smart buildings.
The newly launched DALI C-Series Protocol Gateway by Easyctrl introduces several advanced features: it supports 64 DALI drivers divided into 64 groups, 16 scenes, and 16 zones. Among them, Groups 1–16 are standard DALI protocol groups (each group can bind up to 64 devices), while Groups 17–64 serve as auxiliary groups (each supporting up to 2 devices).
As shown above, the DALI C-Series Protocol Gateway based on the YC-BUS protocol offers significant functional advantages over DALI gateways based on the KNX bus. It provides more flexible grouping, supports individual control of 64 DALI drivers, and is suitable for a wider range of application scenarios.
